Starting Fall 2014, the CMPE program at SJSU requires a minimum of 120 semester units. A maximum of 70 units may be accepted from a 2 year college. In addition, at least 40 of the total units must be upper division. Moreover, at least 30 units must be earned while at SJSU.
The CMPE program requirements include an average of “C” (2.0) or better in all college coursework (including other colleges), a “C" average or better in units taken at SJSU and a “C" average or better in the CMPE major coursework. Students must complete most courses with a grade of “C-“ or better, except for some courses that require a grade of “C” or better.
